The GEV (Gesellschaft für Erd- und Völkerkunde zu Stuttgart e. V.) is committed to the realization of innovative and contemporary museum projects and supports attractive educational concepts and anthropological research. Their goal is to preserve world cultural heritage in Stuttgart and to create understanding for other cultures. A second focus of the association is the promotion of geographical research and teaching.

The GEV offers an extensive lecture program that is tailored to the current exhibition focuses of the Linden-Museum.
