Talk and book launch with the Afghan human rights activist and author

Sima Samar is widely recognized for her work to promote women’s rights and education in Afghanistan. She has held various important positions. Among others, she was Chairperson of the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC), Minister for Women’s Affairs, UN Special Rapporteur and founder of the Shuhada organization.

Sima Samar will also present her new book “Outspoken: A Fight for Freedom and Women’s Rights in Afghanistan”.
