Bharata Natyam: Classical Indian dance with the Lotus Dance School under the direction of Caroline Gebert-Khan

Caroline Gebert-Khan, of German-Indian origin, has dedicated her entire life to classical Indian dance. She performed on international stages for 40 years. She danced in temples in India and in churches, museums and theaters in Europe. Throughout her life, she learned from renowned teachers at the Kalakshetra (Chennai Academy of Arts) and Kalamandala (Kerala) dance centers.

Today she says: “I want to pass on to my students what I have learned and received as a gift from them. I found my love in dance and feel deeply blessed in this life. I want to keep this legacy alive at the Lotus dance school.”

Three generations of the Lotus dance school will present a choreography for the Navaratri festival (the Nine Nights of the Goddess). Let yourself be enchanted by the world of Indian dance art!
